Psychic Incense

Psychic Incense

Recently I have been interested in making incense cones that are tailored to a specific purpose. Here I have created an incense to help increase my Psychic ability.

To create my incense I used, Rose petals, Lemon Balm, Marshmellow Flowers, and Yarrow. Each one of these herbs are known to aid in psychic abilities and by burning these together I hoped to assist this further.

I started by adding dry Rose Petals, an Yarrow into my pestle and mortar and grinding them into as fine of a powder as I possibly could.

The problem I first faced was that my dried rose petals were just not co-operating so I tried ripping them up but that didn't help either, so I carried on regardless but then I found that my yarrow was to twiggy and also wouldn't grind nicely.

Either way, I persevered and adding in the marshmellow flowers and the lemon balm. Those ground much finer than the two previous herbs.

To shape the herbs together I knew that I needed to add water to help create a paste but I wanted to try adding fresh rose petals first as they themselves would be moist and therefore I wouldn't require as much water. So that is what I did and I found the herbs to bind themselves together nicely.

I did add some more water through a spray bottle so that I didn't add to much and then shaped them together to create a cone shape for burning later on.

I left my cone to dry for a few days before I burnt it to remove as much moisture as possible. It burnt relatively decent for a incense that was coarse but I do find myself wondering that if I added a small amount of sawdust if it would burn much nicer.

As a smell it was very earthy and strong there weren't any floral notes to it which surprised me due to how strong scented my rose petals were but I personally didn't mind as this incense for me was made for the purpose to add my work rather than making my home smell nice.

I will be trying variations of this method in the upcoming weeks and I will add more information to what worked well and what didn't.

Blessed be.
