Runes, Casting and their Meanings

My favourite route in magic is divination. This is mainly due to the variety of ways that you are able to gain insight as there are infinite ways for you to get the answers to questions you may have. Runes are a common type of divination which is used in witchcraft, many witches may use runes in various different ways however below is the way I use to benefit my craft and my journey.

Runes are often engraved onto items such as wood or even crystals. Mine are made from clear quartz crystal as it is one of my favourite crystals and I have a very strong connection to those. It is important to use a material for your runes that you are connected to utalize their power. They can be engraved on any type of items such as plastic, paper and I have even known for them to be engraved on leaves. It really does depend on what purpose you want to use the runes for whether that be for a spell or even protection.
